Docker installtion easy way

  1. sudo yum update

  2. sudo yum install docker

  3. sudo systemctl start docker

  4. sudo systemctl status docker

  5. sudo systemctl enable docker

  6. sudo docker info

  7. sudo docker version

prerequisite:

  • centoes 7 operating system

  • 64 bit

  • sudo user permission

second way to install docker from docker official repojetory::

sudo yum check-update

Now run this command. It will add the official Docker repository, download the latest version of Docker, and install it:

curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com/ | sh

After installation has completed, start the Docker daemon.

sudo systemctl start docker
sudo systemctl status docker
sudo systemctl enable docker

step-2: Executing docker without sudo command.If you want to avoid typing sudo whenever you run the docker command, add your username to the docker group:

sudo usermod -aG docker $(whoami)
sudo usermod -aG docker username

  1. Save the script to a file: Save the above script to a file, for example, install_docker.sh
